Switching Your Site Template
While you’re working on your site, we get that you might change your mind and want to try a different template. No worries – you can switch templates at any time. Just keep in mind that if you switch, any changes you made to the current template will be gone.
Changing the template is easy and can be done in two ways:
- From the Marketplace
- From the Template section
Change Template from Marketplace
- Go to the WebCommander Marketplace by accessing the platform and locating the “Marketplace” section.
- Within the Marketplace, navigate to the “Templates” section.
- Browse through the available templates to find the one that suits your needs.
- Once you’ve identified your desired template, click on “Preview” to get a glimpse of how the template will look.
- If you decide to use the template, click on “Use This Template.”
- At this point, you will be redirected to the “Log In” page. Input your credentials (email address and password).
- Click on “Login” to proceed.
- After successful login, the template installation process will be initiated automatically.
Change Template from Template Section
- Go to the “Website” section in your WebCommander account.
- Navigate to the “Template” tab within the “Website” section.
- Here, you will see the template currently in use. Additionally, there will be a featured list of templates.
- To install a new template, click on the “Install” button next to your desired template.
- A warning popup will appear, asking if you want to install the selected template.
- Click on the “Install” button to initiate the installation process.
- Alternatively, you have the option to “Visit Template Marketplace.”
- If you choose to visit the marketplace, you can follow the steps outlined in the previous section for selecting and installing templates.
Congratulations! You have successfully selected and installed a template for your WebCommander website. You can now customise and tailor the template to create a website that aligns with your vision.
